This page describes what personal data eStack, Inc. (“eStack”) processes on your behalf as a merchant using the eStack platform, and why. It applies across all sales channels eStack connects to, including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify.
To provide order management, fulfillment, inventory, and demand planning across your connected sales channels, eStack processes:
We do not process payment card numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers. Payment processing is handled entirely by your sales channels and payment providers, not by eStack.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Order and line item data | Import orders, decrement inventory, generate pick/pack/ship workflows, sync fulfillment status back to the originating channel |
| Customer name | Packing slips, shipping labels |
| Shipping address | Generate shipping labels, route fulfillment to the correct warehouse or 3PL, meet carrier delivery requirements |
| Phone number | Carrier delivery requirements where applicable (e.g., certain freight or signature-required shipments) |
| Product/inventory data | Sync stock levels across your connected channels, demand planning, purchase order generation |
| Channel credentials | Maintain your channel connections so orders continue to sync without repeated manual reauthorization |
We do not use this data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to operating your store through eStack. We do not sell customer data, and we do not share it with third parties beyond what’s needed to fulfill your orders (for example, shipping carriers).
Order and customer data is generally retained for the life of the order record. Retention specifics vary by channel, based on each channel’s own requirements.
Amazon orders are anonymized automatically: buyer name, address, phone, and email are cleared approximately 30 days after the order ships, a purge specific to Amazon’s data retention requirements.
Shopify orders are retained until a valid deletion request is received, from the customer, the merchant, or upon the store’s closure, and handled through Shopify’s own mandatory compliance mechanisms rather than a fixed timer.
Walmart and eBay currently follow the same retention as the general policy above; a time-based anonymization matching Amazon’s approach is planned for these two channels.
In every case, data tied to a specific customer is deleted or anonymized upon a valid deletion request, or upon your account’s closure, subject to any legal retention obligations we’re required to meet.
You control which sales channels are connected to your eStack account and can disconnect a channel at any time from Store Settings. Disconnecting a channel stops new data from syncing; existing order history remains available in eStack for your own records unless you request deletion.
